Safety Razor for the Classic Razor Blade
Since its invention in 1907 the straight razor has been considered probably the best compromise between pure shaving with a shaving razor and the easy handling of modern blade systems. The handling is simple and easy to learn within one or two shaves. In contrast to modern blade systems the head of the razor plane is rigid. To change the blade the head is unscrewed and a new blade is inserted.
Its classic shape fits perfectly with the timeless design of the razors from Gora Klingen Manufaktur. The blades used are standardised and worldwide available.
Brush Knot Made of Fine Badger Hair
Fine badger hair is comparable to silver tip hair. It is somewhat firmer and therefore best suited for men who appreciate a light massage effect. This quality can be recognised by the typical dark stripes. The badger hair can absorb a lot of water. This allows for a dense and creamy lather.
