In Germany plum wood has traditionally been used for centuries for knife and cutlery handles. Its hardness and structure are perfect for this purpose. The colours range from brown-orange to orange-yellow and orange-beige.

Safety Razor for the Classic Razor Blade
Since its invention in 1907 the straight razor has been considered probably the best compromise between pure shaving with a shaving razor and the easy handling of modern blade systems. The handling is simple and easy to learn within one or two shaves. In contrast to modern blade systems the head of the razor plane is rigid. To change the blade the head is unscrewed and a new blade is inserted.
Its classic shape fits perfectly with the timeless design of the razors from Gora Klingen Manufaktur. The blades used are standardised and worldwide available.
